On the early morning of February 5th, a serious criminal case occurred in Huining County, Baiyin City, resulting in 8 deaths and 7 injuries. After receiving the report, the local public security organ immediately rushed to the scene to rescue the injured, carry out on-site investigation and arrest the suspect. After careful work, the suspect Guo Moumou (male, Han nationality, 49 years old, from Huining County) was captured by the public security organ at about 6:00 am that day. According to Guo's preliminary account, he suspected that his wife had an improper sexual relationship with others, harbored resentment, and deliberately retaliated. In the early morning of February 5th, he alone, after drinking, rushed into the village's house and committed the crime with a knife. At present, the aftermath of the deceased and the rescue of the injured are being carried out in an orderly manner, and the case is currently being tried.
